FAQ:

If we haven't already provided an initial consultation, we will arrange a convenient time to meet with you and your loved one to determine the type and the frequency of service required and to understand the best person for your needs. We will then select that person and create a schedule. Our staff will arrive at the first appointment ready to help and to start getting to know you personally.
We can usually make all arrangements and have someone on duty within 24 hours.
It's not uncommon for people, who are living independently, to be wary of accepting help. Often they think it signals a loss of independence, or they fear they won't personally like the person helping them. We've found the key to working through these concerns is establishing a strong rapport right from the start. A great way to work through your mother's concern is to arrange for one of our staff to come out and meet with you both to discuss the kind of assistance we can offer and our approach to finding a great match.
Our training program covers numerous areas including: client safety and emergency preparedness, specialized Dementia and Alzheimer's training, client nutrition, and much more. Our staff is required to attend at least six training sessions a year to continually update their skills. The depth and thoroughness of our ongoing instructional program is an important way in which Sara's Home Care stands out from other home health providers.
